• Alignment process

The alignment of the control cable is core by core one by one. Usually, first determine a common wire, short circuit one end with the tested core and the common wire, and test the other end between the common wire and the unknown core with the test lamp until the lamp is on, the unknown core is determined, and try the next one again. During the test, personnel at both ends shall contact and coordinate by telephone.

• Selection of public lines

There are many ways to select the common line: first, from the tested cable, Find a core that is obviously "different" (for example, only one or two are red); second, use the shielding layer of shielded cable; third, use the grounding grid and connect anchor screws at both ends (this method is prone to poor contact and interference, which is only used to determine a few core wires, such as public lines and telephone lines, and do not use them in case of lightning); fourth, pull a temporary wire.

• Test the lamp

The test lamp is a "cut-off indicator" made by connecting dry batteries (two 1#) and hand bulbs and leading out two test lines for switching, which is referred to as "cut-off device" . Its advantages are simple and easy to make, but its disadvantages are that the bulb is easy to burn and consumes electricity. Replacing the battery is tantamount to remanufacturing. There is also a DC buzzer, which is also powered by dry battery. It sends out sound when the line is connected. Its disadvantages are also power consumption and poor contact. Now many people use the digital universal meter with disconnection test function as the disconnector. The way to prompt the connection is the indicator light and sound. The effect is good, but the price is expensive. When the line is aligned, the whole machine works, which consumes electricity for nothing and is overqualified.

• Telephone

Personnel at both ends use two telephones for operation contact. The telephone line can be used by first two lines from the tested power cable, or a temporary line can be pulled. There are the following types of telephones: first, the magnet telephone, which is equipped with two 1.5-volt kilobatteries as the transmission power supply and a hand-operated alternator as the power supply for ringing to the other party. The two machines can communicate by docking. This is an ancient telephone, which is now rare. 2. A pair of wireless walkie talkies can be used, with a talk distance of 1km and half duplex. It eliminates the line and is easy to move, but a pair of phones need to invest about 2000 yuan. When using, speaking and listening must be switched with buttons. In addition, it consumes a lot of power. It can't be used every day and charged every day. 3. The common telephone is now a common automatic telephone, which can be pressed, dialed, new or old. Therefore, the old telephone can be used.
